The Compromise
America loves to sacrifice quality for convenience. Supermarkets provide everything you think you need. But everything is mediocre quality: the food, furniture, even the service you get.
Meanwhile, speciality stores are disappearing. Places where you can purchase tasty food, well-made and stylish clothing, or household items that last for many years, are removed from our communities – replaced by Target, Wal Mart, Ikea.
They enter your town under the guise of good jobs for many, and useful goods for all. Corporate culture however, ensures that they are the lowest bidder in every transaction. They offer robotic, structured careers, low wages and low-quality goods.
Is convenience worth the price?
